Asadula Imangazaliev Wins ONE Muay Thai World Title In Bangkok

Inner Circle 20 and ONE Friday Fights 160 delivered a major Muay Thai night on 26 June at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand. Asadula “The Dagestan Ninja” Imangazaliev won the vacant ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Title by split decision over Aslamjon “El Pantera” Ortikov.

The main event featured five rounds of axe kicks, question-mark kicks, jumping knees, and spinning back elbows. Imangazaliev’s two straight tornado spinning back elbows in round five proved decisive, and the result made him Russia’s first ONE Muay Thai World Champion. Nong-O Hama later beat Kongthoranee Sor Sommai by unanimous decision in their flyweight trilogy.

Nong-O dropped Kongthoranee with a right hook, then was sent down by a heavy left hand in round three, but all three judges still gave him the win. Stamp Fairtex also returned to Muay Thai with a split decision win over Cynthia Flores in atomweight action, using countering, right body kicks, and her middle kick.

On the ONE Friday Fights 160 card, Numsurin Chor Ketwina went 2-0 in his rivalry with Songchainoi Kiatsongrit, keeping pressure over three atomweight rounds and sealing a unanimous decision. Two-time K-1 Champion Yodkhunpon also made a strong ONE debut, stopping Semih Sah Cindir with a second-round KO at 2:49 in bantamweight Muay Thai.

Julio Lobo beat PTT Apichart Farm by TKO at 2:01 of round two in bantamweight Muay Thai. Panrit Lukjaomaesaiwaree beat Muangthai PK Saenchai by split decision in bantamweight Muay Thai. The card’s main title result and the three other bouts rounded out the seven-fight event in Bangkok.
