Cristiano Ronaldo secured a first Saudi Pro League title with Al-Nassr as Damac fell 4-1 and dropped out of the top flight. Al-Nassr needed a final-day victory to finish above Al-Hilal, and delivered with goals from Sadio Mane, Kingsley Coman and a Ronaldo brace, sealing a first league crown since the 2018-19 campaign.
Al-Hilal briefly sat on top of the table during the night, after Sultan Mandash scored in the fourth minute against Al-Fayha. That 1-0 win held until full-time, yet the result became irrelevant once Al-Nassr’s margin over Damac ensured the title headed to Riyadh’s yellow side instead of their rivals.

Mandash’s early strike placed pressure on Al-Nassr, with news of Al-Hilal’s lead filtering through. VAR then disallowed goals for Stylianos Vrontis and Marcos Leonardo for offside, one for each club, while Ruben Neves missed a second-half penalty. Al-Hilal closed their season with three points, but the single-goal margin could not change the standings.
At Al-Nassr’s home ground, the hosts controlled the opening phase, yet struggled to trouble goalkeeper Kewin. Attempts from Ronaldo, Joao Felix and Abdullah Al Khaibari lacked precision. The deadlock finally ended in the 34th minute, when Joao Felix delivered an out-swinging corner and Mane twisted sharply to guide a close-range header into the net.
Coman doubled the advantage seven minutes after half-time, finishing a well-worked move with Al Khaibari. The winger exchanged a quick pass on the edge of the area, then guided a curling shot into the bottom-left corner. Damac answered when Morlaye Sylla converted a penalty, following a handball by Mohamed Simakan that revived brief hopes of survival.
Saudi Pro League title sealed by Ronaldo’s decisive brace
Ronaldo responded with the goal that effectively settled the championship, striking from a tight free-kick angle just after the hour. The low drive caught Kewin unsighted at the near post. Nine minutes from time, Ronaldo completed the scoring with a powerful finish into the roof of the net, confirming both the 4-1 win and personal league triumph.
Saudi Pro League title context highlighted by Ronaldo’s numbers
The match statistics showed limited clear chances for both sides, despite the four goals scored by Al-Nassr. The champions produced 1.02 expected goals from 14 attempts, while Damac managed 0.88 xG from three shots, helped heavily by Sylla’s penalty. Within that tight margin, Ronaldo’s efficiency against this opponent again proved decisive.
Ronaldo attempted a game-high five shots while pursuing a first Saudi Pro League crown and continued an impressive personal record. The forward now has nine goals in six meetings with Damac, more than against any team except Al-Wedha, with 10. Ronaldo finished the season on 28 league goals, trailing Julian Quinones with 33 and Ivan Toney on 32.
