‘Cheated So Many Times…’ Prithvi Shaw’s Fiancée Akriti Sparks Divorce Rumours With Cryptic Insta Post

Indian cricketer Prithvi Shaw’s fiancée, Akriti Agarwal, has sparked speculation after sharing a cryptic message on Instagram, saying she had been “cheated so many times.” While the post did not mention Shaw or anyone by name, it quickly went viral, with many fans assuming it was directed at the cricketer.

The couple got engaged in March this year. Despite the online speculation, there has been no indication of a fallout, as Akriti continues to follow Shaw on Instagram and has also retained their engagement posts on her profile.

“I got cheated on so many times, yet I never said a word. Still can’t believe that after taking one step ahead. Everything is true; every rumour is true. What you see on social media about him,” Akriti wrote on her Instagram story, which, according to her has now been deleted.

Prithvi Shaw and Akriti Agarwal got engaged in March this year after being in a long-term relationship. Akriti is an actress and social media influencer who has frequently been seen with the cricketer at public events and on social media.

On the cricketing front, Shaw endured a disappointing IPL 2026 campaign with the Delhi Capitals, where he remained on the bench throughout the season without featuring in a single match. Once regarded as one of India’s brightest batting prospects after leading the country to the Under-19 World Cup title, Shaw has struggled to revive his career in recent years, with inconsistent form and fitness issues hampering his progress.

“If I don’t think about a comeback, then what’s the point? That’s why I am playing. Who doesn’t want to play for India? You have to be there, and I am working towards that,” the right-hand opener remarked in the aftermath of his selection, quoted by Star Sports.

“I enjoyed my life in the last year. Went to a couple of destinations to keep my mind fresh. Then I came back. The same routine, practised, worked hard, be it my training or batting. Whatever I used to do, I started doing it 3x more. I think it was a good break for me. I don’t see it as a step back, but it was a needed break, so I get myself back stronger mentally,” he added.
