New Delhi, July 30: Undefeated challenger Elbek Alyshov is brimming with confidence ahead of the biggest test of his mixed martial arts career as he prepares to take on reigning ONE Bantamweight MMA World Champion Enkh-Orgil Baatarkhuu in the main event of ONE Friday Fights 24 at Bangkok’s Lumpinee Stadium on July 31.
The 27-year-old Azerbaijani-Russian, who trains under Team Chingiz Allazov, heads into the title bout with an unblemished 10-0 professional record. A product of judo and sambo, Alyshov competed in more than 400 bouts across both disciplines before making the switch to professional MMA at the age of 18.

Ahead of the championship clash, Alyshov acknowledged Baatarkhuu’s aggressive fighting style and relentless pursuit of finishes, describing the Mongolian champion as an opponent who never retreats inside the cage.
“In grappling, he is very dangerous with submissions. He looks for the finish until the very last second. He always takes the center. There has never been a fight in which he backed up. It has never happened,” Alyshov said.
While full of praise for the champion, the unbeaten contender backed his own wrestling credentials, claiming they are second to none in the sport.
“I believe that my wrestling is the best in MMA, not only in ONE Championship, but across all organizations. I also feel that I am well-rounded, and when it comes to wrestling in MMA, there is no one else like me,” he said.
Alyshov also promised an all-action performance on fight night, insisting he would leave everything inside the ring in his bid to capture the bantamweight world title.
“On July 31, the fans will see Elbek go all the way for victory. He will stand his ground, and the people will see a warrior, a warrior who came here to win,” he added.
The highly anticipated showdown pits one of the promotion’s most dominant champions against an undefeated challenger looking to extend his perfect record and claim his first ONE Championship world title.
