Kangana Ranaut Controversy Update: Bollywood actress turned politician Kangana Ranaut is always in the news for her controversial and bold statements. Counted among the highest-paid actresses in the Hindi film industry, the National Award-winning actress is currently in the news for her comments against the Gen Z generation amid the recent student protest against the NEET paper leak in Delhi and other states.

A few days ago, taking to her social media account, Kangana Ranaut expressed her opinion about the Gen Z protestors and called them ‘gutter generation.’ Yes, you read that right! This didn’t sit well with the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) spokesperson Saurav Das, who has been openly criticising her.

SONU SOOD REACTS TO KANGANA’S ‘GUTTER GENERATION’ REMARK

Amid all this, Bollywood actor Sonu Sood has now reacted to Kangana’s controversial remarks against the young protestors. While the actor initially mentioned that he isn’t aware of the actress’ controversial statement, he strongly stated that young people deserve respect as they play an important role in shaping the country’s future as well as the careers of public figures.

He said, “I haven’t heard her statement. But I feel that these young people are the ones who make actors, and they are the ones who help you reach this position. As long as they stand by you, you will continue to thrive. If they are not with you, it becomes difficult. That’s why everyone should be taken along.”

The Aashiq Banaya Aapne star added that a strong connection with the public is very important in every profession. “Whatever your profession may be, whether you are an actor, a doctor, or anything else, your existence in this world has meaning only as long as people are connected with you,” he said.

When Sood was told that Kangana has called Gen Z protestors ‘gutter generation,’ he criticised it and said, “If she has said that, then I think it is very shameful. It should not have been said. There is a saying, ‘Tol mol ke bol’ (weigh your words before speaking). It is very important to think carefully before you speak because the public is another form of God.”

So far Kangana hasn’t reacted to Sood’s reaction, and it’ll be interesting to see what she has to say about it.
