Salman Khan Security Guard Dies: Salman Khan has been one of the actors in the industry who has a Y Plus security. The actor has often made headlines owing the death threats from Lawrence Bishnoi gang following which his security was upgraded last year. However, the latest news about Salman’s security has been grabbing eyeballs as one of the guard died on duty. According to a report published in MoneyControl, a Mumbai Police Constable who was guarding the Dabangg actor’s residence Galaxy Apartments passed away on August 7.
Reportedly as per the Free Press Journal, the constable identified as Ganesh Raite was posted with LA-4 unit and was 41 as he breathed his last. It was reported that Raite had complained of uneasiness at around 6pm while he was on duty outside Galaxy Apartments in Bandra. While he was rushed to he was declared dead on arrival.

The media reports suggested that Ganesh Raite had allegedly suffered a heart attack while he was on duty. He was rushed to Bhabha Hospital but passed away before reaching the hospital. His body was later sent for post mortem. To note, amid reports about the constable suffering a heart attack, the exact cause of is yet to be known.
Who Is Ganesh Raite?
To note, 41 year old Ganesh Raite was an ex-Indian Army officer who had later joined Mumbai Police. While the news of Raite’s demise has come as a shock to everyone, the news of tragedy has come amid Salman getting repeated death threats.
To note, two motorcycle borne assailants had opened fire at Galaxy Apartments in 2024 following which the security around Salman’s residence had tightened. Talking about the heightened security, Salman stated, “God, Allah – it is all in His hands. One lives exactly as long as is ordained; that is all there is to it. Sometimes, having to move around with so many people becomes a problem”.
