Awarapan 2 advance booking is in full swing, with several shows already nearing the housefull mark as excitement builds ahead of its release. According to Sacnilk, the sequel has already sold over 4.6k tickets till Wednesday 4:00 PM, grossing Rs 1.63 cr without blocked seats (with blocked seats: Rs 2.99 Cr).
Officially certified U/A 16+ by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), Awarapan 2 has a runtime of exactly 2 hours, 20 minutes and 20 seconds (140.20 minutes).

Interestingly, Awarapan, released on June 29, 2007, was a box office flop. Yes, you read that right! Mounted on an estimated budget of Rs 18 cr, the film had managed to gross around Rs 12-12.25 cr at the box office worldwide. Over the years, Awarapan went on to earn the cult classic tag.
