Reigning ONE Women’s Atomweight Kickboxing World Champion “The Queen” Phetjeeja Lukjaoporongtom has been forced out of her upcoming title defense. The Thai champion was scheduled to face Greece’s Antonia Prifti at The Inner Circle 28 on Friday, August 28, from Bangkok’s Lumpinee Stadium.
According to onefc.com, Phetjeeja suffered a hand injury during training, and the severity of the issue has left her with no choice but to withdraw from the bout. As a result, the title fight has officially been pulled from The Inner Circle 28 card.

The 24-year-old has built one of the most dominant resumes in the sport, boasting a career record of 210-6 with 69 finishes and a ONE mark of 8-1. She made an explosive start inside the promotion, racking up four TKO victories in Muay Thai matchups that also earned her a lucrative six-figure main roster contract.
Phetjeeja’s rise continued when she defeated legendary striker Anissa “C18” Meksen to claim the ONE Interim Atomweight Kickboxing World Championship in December 2023. She later unified the title against Janet Todd to become the division’s undisputed queen.
Since then, Phetjeeja successfully defended her crown against Japan’s Kana before shifting her focus back toward her Muay Thai roots. In her most recent outing, she challenged Allycia Hellen Rodrigues for the ONE Atomweight Muay Thai World Title in pursuit of two-sport glory, though she ultimately fell short.
Awaiting her return was Prifti, a 24-year-old Greek standout with a career record of 25-3. The former K-1 Women’s Flyweight Champion earned that title by defeating Kana and also holds a notable win over fellow ONE striker Tessa De Kom, adding to an already decorated resume.
With Phetjeeja’s withdrawal, Prifti’s promotional debut and title opportunity will now have to wait. ONE Championship has yet to confirm any details regarding a rescheduled date or replacement opponent for the postponed bout.
