The Maharaja Trophy KSCA T20 Season 5 player auction will be held in Bengaluru on June 5. Star names Karun Nair, Mayank Agarwal and Manish Pandey lead a pool of over 150 players. Six franchises enter with full purses of INR 60 lakh each.
Each team must build a squad of 16 to 18 players from the auction. They also need two Catchment Area Players. At least 12 players must come from Pools A, B and C together. All auction rules apply for the 2026 season squads.

KSCA T20 Season 5: Player Pool
Players are split into five pools with set base prices. The structure is as follows:

KSCA T20 Season 5: Important Players Across Pools
Pool A has India and IPL players with a base of INR 2 lakh. Along with Nair, Agarwal and Pandey, key names include Vyshak Vijaykumar, Smaran R and Yashraj Punja, who took 26 wickets last season. Abhinav Manohar and Vidwath Kaverappa also feature.
Pool B covers Karnataka senior team players under 30, with a base of INR 1 lakh. This group includes Chethan LR, Hardik Raj, Luvnith Sisodia, Macneil Noronha, Manvanth Kumar L, Aneesh KV, Nikin Jose, Shubhang Hegde and Abhilash Shetty.
Pool C lists Karnataka junior players under 30, with a base of INR 50,000. Notable names are Harshil Dharmani, Karthik SU, Aadarsh Prajwal, Anvay Dravid, Aneeshwar Gautam and Samit Dravid. These players add depth for franchises targeting youth options.
Pool D has senior state players aged 30 to 35, with a base of INR 75,000. Mohd Taha, Koushik V, Melu Kranthi Kumar and Nihal Ullal lead this experienced group. Teams can field only two Pool D players in the playing XI.
Pool E includes other KSCA-registered players under 30, cleared by the State Selection Committee, with a base of INR 30,000. In addition, every franchise must pick two players from its catchment area, outside the main auction framework.
KSCA T20 Season 5: Auction Rules
Teams can retain up to four players from their 2026 squads for the next season, subject to KSCA rules. Season five runs from June 20 to July 12 in Mysuru, Hubballi and Bengaluru. The six franchises will play in Karnataka’s leading T20 event.
The competing teams are Coastal Kings Mangaluru, Gulbarga Mystics, Hubli Tigers, Kalyani Bengaluru Blasters, Mysore Warriors and Shivamogga Yodhas. The auction starts at 10 am and streams live on KSCA YouTube and Instagram channels.
