However, earlier this year, wedding rumours resurfaced after Isha’s mother shared photos and videos from what appeared to be their wedding.
Earlier this week, the duo announced their divorce. Amid reports of Isha potentially participating in Bigg Boss 20, the Nawabzaade actress opened up about her marriage and revealed that she felt “cheated” in the relationship.

From reports of her Bigg Boss 20 participation to her divorce from rapper Badshah, Punjabi model-actress Isha Rikhi has been grabbing headlines. In a recent interview with ETimes, Rikhi opened up about the difficult phase and said she wants to move on from it with grace.
Addressing the photos, Isha clarified that she did not share them herself and explained that her mother was the one who posted them. She said, “I honestly don’t want to talk about it. Firstly, I didn’t post these pictures. My mother did. I was protecting him.” She further revealed that she had several disagreements with her mother over the posts, only to later realise that the situation was beyond her control.
Recalling the difficult period, Isha said, “I’ve fought with my mom a lot about this only for me to realise later that whatever happened, happened for a reason. It was out of my control. I was so scared. My mom was saying something else. He was saying something else.”
She also revealed that she and Badshah communicated several times after the photos surfaced. However, according to Isha, he allegedly presented a different version of events to her. “He was showing a different picture to me, which was not true. I was questioning myself that how can I be so stupid? This had to be the worst phase of my life.”
When asked directly whether she felt cheated in the marriage, Isha gave a candid response: “Feel cheated? I would say that I was, yeah.”

In the same interview, Isha made it clear that she does not wish to turn her personal life into a public spectacle, stating, “I don’t want to make a tamasha of my personal life in public. I won’t be cleaning my dirty linens in public, because that’s not who I am.”
Speaking about her present equation with estranged husband Badshah, Isha admitted that things between them are “complicated.”
Despite her experiences, Isha said they have not made her lose faith in love altogether. However, she explained that she currently relates to love more through the affection she receives from her mother and friends rather than romantically. She added that she does not want to become bitter because of what she has been through, while acknowledging that healing could take time.
Reflecting on the possibility of marriage again, Isha confessed that the thought now scares her. “I’m more scared about getting married again. In life, for me, shaadi is not there at all,” the actress said.

Isha also addressed the reports surrounding her marriage. Taking to her Instagram Stories, the actress expressed shock over some of the claims being circulated and urged the media to refrain from spreading unverified information.
She wrote, “I request certain sections of the media not to spread any rumors regarding my marriage or separation.”
