Abbas-Mustan On Idea Behind 3 Monkeys Tagline; Share Why Gandhi Jayanti Was The Perfect Day To Launch Poster | 3 Monkeys (2026 Movie) Sab Dekho Apni Suno Bekhauf Bolo

Abbas-Mustan are bringing back one of India’s most recognisable images with a fresh Gen Z perspective in their upcoming thriller 3 Monkeys. The filmmaker duo unveiled the film’s poster on Gandhi Jayanti, giving the familiar three monkeys a contemporary identity while keeping the mystery and intrigue that have always been central to their storytelling.

The thought behind the film is captured in the line, “Sab Dekho. Apni Suno. Bekhauf Bolo.” For Abbas-Mustan, the slogan reflects the way the younger generation observes the world today, questioning what they see, trusting their instincts and being unafraid to express themselves.

Sharing the thought behind the film, Abbas-Mustan said, “The idea behind ‘Sab Dekho. Apni Suno. Bekhauf Bolo.’ came from how GenZ today look at the world. They observe everything, trust their own judgement and are not afraid to say what they feel. And what better day than Gandhi Jayanti to introduce our three monkeys with this thought? At the same time, 3 Monkeys is a thriller, so behind that attitude, there are masks, secrets and twists waiting to be uncovered. That contrast is what makes this world exciting for us.”

The three monkeys in the film, Amar, Akbar and Anthony, carry this new-age attitude into a world where nothing is quite what it seems. They are mischievous, unpredictable and seemingly fearless, but beneath their carefree exterior lies a larger mystery.

The Gandhi Jayanti launch adds another layer to the film’s concept, taking a symbol that has been familiar to generations and reimagining it for a generation that wants to see things for itself, trust its own judgement and speak without hesitation.

While the poster introduces the three monkeys and their distinctive world, the thriller promises that there is much more hidden beneath the surface. Masks, secrets and unexpected twists become part of a story where appearances can be deceptive and every reveal could change what audiences think they know.

With Abbas-Mustan returning to a world of intrigue, twists and deception, this time with a distinctly Gen-Z temperament, 3 Monkeys asks audiences to forget what they think they know about the three monkeys.

Because in 2026, they aren’t looking away. They aren’t simply listening. And they certainly aren’t staying quiet.

3 Monkeys, starring Arjun Rampal, Vishal Jethwa, Mustafa Burmawala, Tenzin Dalha and Mustafa Ali, is produced by Allarakha Vohra, Faruk Vohra and Sayeed Vohra, Associate producer Anand Tiwari and presented by AJ Film Entertainment World. The film, directed by Abbas-Mustan, releases in cinemas worldwide on 4 December 2026.
