The actor was in Bali on a work-cum-holiday trip when she met with an accident and suffered a fracture in her spine. Following the injury, arrangements were made to bring her back to Mumbai by air ambulance for surgery and further treatment.
Her publicist had earlier said that Nushrratt was under medical observation and that her health was the immediate priority. The statement also confirmed that her professional commitments over the next few weeks were expected to be affected because of the injury and surgery.
The team requested privacy for the actor while she undergoes treatment and recovery. They also thanked fans and well-wishers for their concern, adding that further updates would be shared when appropriate.
