Harshvardhan Rane Opens Up About His Role In Silaa
Harshvardhan Rane plays Virat in Silaa. According to the actor, the character has several layers, with his journey taking an unexpected turn as he tries to find the person he loves. The role also required him to push himself physically and emotionally.
Talking about his experience, Harshvardhan said, “Silaa has been one of the most challenging and exciting journeys for me as an actor. There is so much more to Virat than what meets the eye; he is a man driven by love, but when circumstances take an unexpected turn, he is pushed into a world where survival becomes just as important as finding the person he loves.”
He added that the film’s action sequences, locations and emotional scenes made the experience demanding. The actor also explained that the story’s emotional core was one of the main reasons he chose the project.
“What really drew me to this story was the fact that beneath all the action and adventure, it is about how far you are willing to go for someone who means everything to you. I am excited for audiences to see this side of me on the big screen,” he said.
Omung Kumar On The Story And Scale Of Silaa
Director Omung Kumar said the team wanted to bring together different elements while keeping the emotions at the centre of the film. He described Silaa as a story that combines romance, action, mystery and adventure.
“With Silaa, we wanted to create a film that takes audiences on a roller-coaster ride, where romance, action, mystery and adventure come together in an unexpected way. At its heart, the film is about love and the lengths a person can go to when everything they believe in is put to the test,” Kumar said.
The director also spoke about the film’s locations and the performances of its lead actors. He said Harshvardhan brings intensity and physicality to Virat, while Sadia Khateeb adds strength and depth to her character, Silaa.
