DPL T20 Season 3 Player Auction 2026: Delhi Premier League Auction Details, Retained Players, Purse & Live Streaming

The much-awaited Delhi Premier League (DPL) T20 Season 3 Player Auction will be held on July 1 in New Delhi. Eight men’s franchises and four women’s franchises will build their squads for the upcoming season. The auction begins at 9:00 AM.

Over 600 players are in contention. Out of these, 65 men’s players and 28 women’s players have already been retained by their respective franchises.

DDCA President Rohan Jaitley’s Statement

DDCA President Rohan Jaitley said, “The player auction is one of the most exciting days in the Delhi cricket calendar. It is the moment when teams begin taking shape and franchises make the strategic calls that will define their season. The DPL has grown into a competition that genuinely matters for Delhi cricket, both as a platform for established players and as a stage for emerging talent to prove themselves. I am looking forward to seeing how the franchises put their combinations together and what the auction throws up on the day.”

DPL T20 Season 3 Auction Purse

Each of the eight men’s franchises was allotted a total purse of Rs 1.5 crore, while each of the four women’s franchises received Rs 75 lakhs. Retention amounts have already been deducted from these purses.

Delhi Premier League Player Categories

Men’s Competition

• Marquee: India internationals, India A players and those who have been part of an IPL squad in any of the last three seasons. Base price: Rs 10 lakhs
• Category A: Players who represented Delhi’s senior men’s team in Ranji Trophy, Vijay Hazare Trophy or Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy in the previous three seasons. Base price: Rs 5 lakhs
• Category B: Delhi Under-23, Under-19 and Under-16 players. Base price: Rs 3 lakhs
• Category C: DDCA-registered players from Delhi’s league cricket circuit. Base price: Rs 1 lakh

Women’s Competition

• Marquee: India international women cricketers from Delhi/DDCA and players who were part of Women’s Premier League squads over the last three seasons. Base price: Rs 5 lakhs
• Category A: Players who represented Delhi’s senior women’s team in domestic tournaments. Base price: Rs 3 lakhs
• Category B: Delhi Under-23, Under-19 and Under-15 players. Base price: Rs 1.5 lakhs
• Category C: DDCA Women’s T20 League performers and registered players. Base price: Rs 75,000
