Alpha First Review
As per a post shared by actor turned critic Kuldeep Gadhvi, Alpha is ‘is a stylish and ambitious thrilling blend of action, emotion, suspense, and entertainment’. Kuldeep gave the movie a 4 star rating and emphasised that while Alia and Sharvari left a mark with the strong performance, Hrithik Roshan’s cameo is one of the USP of the movie. He wrote, “@aliaabhatt once again proves why she is one of the finest performers of her generation. She brings conviction, intensity, vulnerability, and charisma to the role of Alpha, carrying the film with complete confidence. @sharvari is equally impressive, matching Alia’s energy with a powerful performance ..@iambobbydeol delivers a commanding screen presence every confrontation memorable. @anilskapoor adds maturity and authority to the narrative with a solid supporting performance..@hrithikroshan makes a powerful special appearance as Kabir, and his entry is whistle-worthy moments of the film”.
Furthermore, Kuldeep Gadhvi added, “While the first half takes its time establishing the characters and their emotional journeys, the second half raises the stakes with intense action, unexpected twists, and a satisfying payoff. A refreshing female-led action entertainer that never feels like a gimmick…Action sequences are grand, well-executed, and among the best”.
Meanwhile, as there have been reports about a rift between Alia and Bobby Deol on Alpha sets, the latter had dismissed the reports and told India TV, “Mujhe bhi ek dost ne bheja uss rumour ka snapshot. Main bhi hairaan ho gaya. Log itne velle hai ki kuch bhi likh ke bana dete hai. Alia is a very good actress and she is very professional. She works very hard. Alia was also prepared for all the fight sequences that she had to do. Toh mujhe nahi samaj mein aaya kisne kya soch ke ye sab rumours likhe. I can’t go around proving the point to anybody. So it is not true. Log Instagram se influenced rehte hai lekin uspe 90 per cent kahaniyaan sahi nahi hoti hai”.
