The 61 year old actor is all set to tie the knot for the third time now. Yes! Aamir Khan, who had introduced Gauri Spratt on his 60th birthday as his ladylove, is marrying her this weekend and the preparations for the same are going on in full swing. According to media reports, Aamir and his 47 year old wife to be have been dating each other for a while.
For the uninitiated, Aamir Khan had confirmed the news of his wedding last month and revealed that he will be marrying Gauri on July 5. While talking to Variety India, Aamir emphasised that formalising things feels like a natural progression in their relationship now. “Now we both feel we are ready to take our relationship to the next level. I am at peace. Gauri and I are serious about each other and we are in a very committed space. We are partners, we are together. In my heart, I’m already married to her. So, to formalise our togetherness just seems like a natural progression of our partnership,” he added.
Aamir Khan Talks About His Wedding Details
Now, ahead of his wedding, Aamir Khan opened up about his big day and revealed that it will be an intimate ceremony. While talking to the media during an event, Aamir said, “Shaadi ho rahi hai 5 July ko. Bahut hi choti shaadi hai, ghar pe hi ghar kar rahe hain. July 5 ko bahut hi khaas din hai humare liye. Bas dono families hain, kuch khaas dost hain, chota sa ghar pe hi kar rahe hain hum log”.

Furthermore, the Sitaare Zameen Par actor asserted, “Sabki duaayein chahenge hum. Sab log aap humein blessings dein, prathna karein ki hum khush rahein aur acha safar rahe humara”.
For the uninitiated, Aamir was earlier married to Reena Dutta and Kiran Rao and has kids Ira Khan and Junaid Khan from his first wedding and Azad Rao Khan from second wedding. Earlier, talking about his relationship with Gauri, Aamir had told Navbharat Times, “I am very fortunate that I met Gauri, and our relationship started together. She is great, I feel at peace with her. Although my relationship with (ex-wives) Kiran Rao and Reena Dutta was also very deep, but things didn’t work out. When you asked, I felt that I am very blessed that Gauri entered my life. We are very happy together. Mujhe lagta hai ab jaake mai mukammal hua hoon”.
