Reigning ONE Flyweight Kickboxing World Champion Superlek will meet Abdulla Dayakaev in a bantamweight Muay Thai rematch at The Inner Circle 25 on Friday, August 7, live on live.onefc.com. Their first fight in May ended in a split-decision win for Dayakaev after an early first-round knockdown.
Superlek, a former ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Champion, has a career record of 139-32 and a ONE record of 15-4. The Thai star said the first knockdown changed the fight. “My plan went out the window early when I got caught by a solid punch. Once I took that hit, I was forced to chase the fight and make up ground, but I barely remember most of what happened after that,” Superlek said.

Dayakaev, 24, is from Dagestan and carries a career record of 16-3 with 11 finishes. In ONE, he is 9-2 with six wins by stoppage. Superlek said the result will not be the same when they meet again, and he expects to settle the score in the ring.
“This fight will definitely not end the same way. I am 100 percent confident that I will avenge my loss and beat Abdulla this time,” he said. Superlek also addressed Dayakaev directly. “To Abdulla, our first fight was great, but this one will be completely different. You said your goal is to knock me out, but I have the weapons to knock you out too, and I promise you, I’m not going down,” Superlek said.
