Yash-starrer Toxic: A Fairy Tale For Grown Ups has managed to set the cash registers jingling on the opening day, earning over Rs 100 crore in India. The Hindi version has also performed well, creating ripples in the theatres despite the mixed reviews.
Toxic (Hindi) Box Office Collection Day 1: How Much Film Earned On Opening Day?
On the first day, Toxic earned Rs 101.10 crore (net) across multiple languages, as per a report in Sacnilk. The gross collections stood at Rs 120.75 crore in India, showcasing the popularity of Yash among the masses.
The gangster action thriller also smashed a sixer at the worldwide box office, minting Rs 20 crore (gross) overseas.

In terms of box office collection, Hindi version contributed the most with a business of Rs 55 crore. The Kannada version collected Rs 23.30 crore while the Telugu version earned Rs 16 crore.
While the Tamil version raked in ₹5.50 crore, the Malayalam version added Rs 1.30 crore on the opening day.
