Prayas Ray Barman spoke after the match as he claimed a fifer. He currently holds the Purple Cap with 9 wickets to his name.

“From the first practice session, we’ve been working really hard in the nets, and we also had a practice game. I had a word with the captain once I got picked, and he said that he had full faith in me. So I think it was my time to deliver for him and for the team. I’ve been trying to do that. I had four wickets in the first three matches, but finally all the hard work paid off in this game,” he said.
