Abhishek Banerjee is stepping into a new chapter as he moves on from Casting Bay, the casting company he co-founded with Anmol Ahuja in 2017. Taking to social media, the actor shared a heartfelt note reflecting on their journey and expressed his excitement to focus on his acting career and other professional pursuits. As he beautifully puts it, “Sometimes moving forward doesn’t mean leaving something behind.”
Explaining his retirement as the Casting Director, he says, “Casting Bay was created by two friends with a shared vision and love for the craft. Over time, as life and professional journeys evolved, their paths naturally took different directions. Abhishek has now retired from Casting Bay and continues with his acting career and other professional pursuits.”
Co-founder Anmol Ahuja continues to lead and build Casting Bay, as the two have been doing for the past few years. “Abhishek and Anmol remain proud of what they created together, grateful for the journey they shared, and wish each other nothing but the very best for the road ahead,” the post adds and concludes with, “It simply means being grateful for the road you travelled together and excited about the roads that now lie ahead.”
Banerjee is grateful for his journey with Casting Bay and is eagerly looking forward to everything that lies ahead.
