Apoorva Mukhija Moves To New York; Reveals She Does Not Live In India Anymore
Apoorva Mukhija, popularly known as The Rebel Kid, is all over the news once again. The influencer has apparently moved out of India. Yes, you read that right!
During her recent appearance on Amin Jaz’s podcast Untriggered By AminJaz, Mukhija revealed that she was moving to New York in just two days. She jokingly added that by the time the episode aired, she would already be living in the US, having left India behind.
Soon after the episode was dropped, she shared the link to the podcast session on her Instagram story and captioned it, “Soo… I don’t live in India anymore. (sic)”
Why Did Apoorva Mukhija (The Rebel Kid) Leave India?
The Rebel Kid aka Apoorva Mukhija’s decision comes months after the infamous Samay Raina’s India’s Got Latent controversy. Following the scandal, Mukhija had spoken about receiving death and rape threats over the episode multiple times. But was the India’s Got Latent controversy the reason behind her decision to move to NY?
Well, it doesn’t seem so completely. In the same podcast, when she was asked why she was moving to New York, the influencer stated, “I have traveled quiet a lot and when I landed in New York I was like – ‘I really want to live here’.”
Apoorva Makhija aka Rebel Kid confirmed she has moved to Newyork (USA) permanently.

She continued, “There was something about this city. It was so fast, everyone is so well dressed, the food is great. I love the architecture and I have seen New York in almost every single web series that I love.”
Apoorva further revealed that she applied to a college in New York and was accepted, allowing her to pursue her plans to live there.
