Awarapan 2 Box Office Collection Day 5 Early Updates: Emraan Hashmi is back in the romantic genre with a bang! His latest release, Awarapan 2, has set the box office on fire. Released on August 14, Nitin Kakkar’s directorial has ended Bollywood’s box office drought and emerged as the third-highest-grossing film of the year so far.
Despite the usual weekday drops, the sequel has been pulling audiences to theatres, overshadowing other biggies from different languages at the ticket counters.
Awarapan 2 Box Office Collection First Monday (Day 4)
Featuring Emraan Hashmi as the OG brooding lover boy Shivam Pandit once again after 19 years, Awarapan 2 marks the biggest opening film of his career. Co-starring Disha Patani, Shabana Azmi and Puran Gabbi among others in important roles, Awarapan 2 kickstarted its theatrical journey on a smashing note.
As updated by Sacnilk, the film netted ₹22 cr on the day of its release and went on to record a solid boost on the weekend.
On Monday (yesterday), Awarapan 2 did see a sharp drop of 64.4% in numbers and added ₹9.25 Cr net, pushing the total 4-day net collection to ₹91 cr, while the total India gross earnings were at ₹109.02 Cr, as per the same trade tracking site.
Awarapan 2 5 Days Collection Early Trend (Tuesday)
According to the live Sacnilk update, Emraan Hashmi’s Awarapan 2 continues to maintain a strong hold at ticket counters today (August 18). Till 6:00 PM, the movie has managed to mint around ₹3.84 Cr (net).
This takes the total India gross collection to ₹113.55 Cr, while the film’s India net earnings now stand at ₹94.84 Cr.

Awarapan 2 Vs Haq Box Office
Despite the slow pace, Awarapan 2 has already earned more than twice the amount recorded by Haq on its first Tuesday. Haq, starring Emraan Hashmi and Yami Gautam, had collected ₹1.75 Cr on Day 5 (first Tuesday).
