To note, the news of divorce has been confirmed by both Isha and Badshah in a joint statement which read as, “I and Isha Rikhi have mutually decided to part ways and move forward on our separate paths. This decision has been made with mutual respect, and we request everyone to kindly respect our privacy during this time. This will be our only statement on the matter. Isha Rikhi’s Cryptic Post About Fear & Survival In Marriage
For the uninitiated, the reports of trouble in Isha and Badshah’s marriage had first surfaced over a month ago after Isha shared a cryptic post indicating being scared by her husband’s power and influence. She wrote, “For a long time, I remained silent because I was afraid. I felt overwhelmed by the influence, power and resources I believed my husband had and I convinced myself that staying quiet was the safest thing to do. Silence was never acceptance. It was survival”.
Who Is Isha Rikhi?
Interestingly, Isha Rikhi is a renowned actress who is known for her work in Punjabi movies like Happy Go Lucky, Ardaas etc. She made her big Bollywood debut with the 2018 release Nawabzaade. To note , this happened to be Badshah’s second marriage. He was earlier married to Jasmine Masih for around 8 years before parting ways in 2020. They also have a daughter named Jessemy Grace Masih Singh, who was born in 2017.
