Cockroach Janata Party Latest News: Cockroach Janata Party has suddenly become one of the biggest internet obsessions among India’s Gen Z crowd, turning timelines into a flood of memes, debates, reels, and viral jokes. From North India to the South, and from small towns to major metro cities, social media users seem unable to stop talking about the bizarre yet wildly entertaining trend.

The phrase “Cockroach Janata Party” is now dominating platforms like X and Instagram. So what exactly is the Cockroach Janata Party, and why is everyone suddenly talking about it? Read on.
What Is Cockroach Janata Party & Why is It Trending?
Cockroach Janata Party (Cockroach Janta Party) has grabbed massive attention online for its sharp satire, meme-heavy branding, and unconventional take on unemployment and youth frustration in India. The viral movement humorously describes itself as the “voice of lazy and unemployed,” turning internet sarcasm into a full-fledged social media phenomenon.
According to the outfit’s website, the trend gained momentum after controversial remarks allegedly comparing unemployed youth to “cockroaches,” sparking outrage and meme culture across social platforms. What began as online satire quickly transformed into a viral digital movement embraced heavily by Gen Z users.
One of the most widely shared taglines from the website reads: “A political party for the people the system forgot to count. Five demands. Zero sponsors. One large, stubborn swarm.” Another section of the website states, “We are not here to set up another PM CARES, holiday in Davos on the taxpayer’s salary slip, or rebrand corruption as ‘strategic spending.’ We are here to ask – loudly, repeatedly, in writing – where the money went.”
The satirical platform also claims it does not discriminate based on “religion, caste, or gender,” though it jokingly says applicants must meet four conditions – being unemployed, lazy, chronically online, and capable of being able to “rant professionally.”
Explaining its open-membership style, the website further says, “Membership is free, lifelong, and revocable only by you. No fees. No selfies with the leader. No ‘missed call to register’.” The quirky messaging and relatable internet humor are major reasons why the trend has exploded across Instagram, X (Twitter), and other social media platforms.

Cockroach Janata Party Founder: Who Is Abhijeet Dipke?
Abhijeet Dipke, a 30-year-old content creator and social media personality, is the face behind the now-viral Cockroach Janata Party movement that has taken over the internet.
According to reports, Dipke was reportedly preparing to travel to Boston for job opportunities before changing course after controversial remarks comparing unemployed youth to “cockroaches” triggered widespread outrage online. Explaining why the statement deeply affected him, he said, “I think it was more triggering because it came from the Chief Justice of India, who is the custodian of the Constitution, which grants us freedom of expression. Someone who is there to safeguard our freedom of expression is comparing us to cockroaches and parasites just for putting forward our opinions. That was the more hurtful part.”
As the movement gained momentum, Dipke’s popularity on social media also skyrocketed. He currently has around 468K followers on Instagram. Earlier today, he claimed that he was suddenly unable to access his Instagram account and alleged that someone may have been attempting to hack it, further fueling online discussions surrounding the viral movement.
Cockroach Janata Party Twitter (X) Account Gets Banned In India
Cockroach Janata Party continues to dominate online conversations in India, with its popularity exploding rapidly across social media platforms. The movement’s official Instagram account currently boasts nearly 14.3 million followers. In comparison, the BJP’s official Instagram page reportedly has around 8.8 million followers despite years of online presence.
However, amid the massive viral buzz, the movement’s X (formerly Twitter) account was reportedly taken down in India, sparking even more discussion online.
The sudden disappearance of the page has only intensified curiosity around the satirical movement, with many users flooding social media platforms to question why the account was removed just as the trend reached peak popularity.
