• Harsh Singh (Men’s 60kg Judo)- Harsh Singh became the first Indian male judoka to win a Commonwealth Games gold medal.
• Preeti Pawar (Women’s 54kg Boxing)- Preeti Pawar defeated Canada’s Scarlett Delgado 5-0 in a unanimous decision to claim gold.
• Jaismine Lamboria (Women’s 57kg Boxing)- Jaismine Lamboria produced a dominant performance in the final to secure India’s second boxing gold.
• Sharmila Dhankar (Women’s Shot Put F57)- Sharmila Dhankar clinched gold with a spectacular season-best throw of 9.81 metres.
• Dilip Gavit (Men’s 100m T47)- Dilip Gavit stormed to victory in the para-athletics sprint to add another gold to India’s tally.
• Soman Rana (Men’s Shot Put F57)- Soman Rana delivered a historic finish in the men’s Shot Put F57 final. Rana clinched gold with a season-best throw of 13.40m.

India won 22 gold medals at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham. CWG 2026: Boxing Rules The Roost

For India, one of the major medal contentions have been the pugilists who have managed to reach the finals of the CWG 2026 across weight categories. India is assured of at least 10 gold medals from these medal matches.

Of India’s 10 boxers competing at the Games, two have already clinched gold medals.
