Dhamaal 4 OTT Release Update: After the underperformance of Alia Bhatt and Sharvari starrer Alpha last week, Bollywood witnessed the theatrical release of another big film, Dhamaal 4. Featuring Ajay Devgn in the lead role, it is the fourth film in the iconic Dhamaal franchise, and moviegoers were eagerly awaiting its theatrical premiere.
Also featuring Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi, and Jaaved Jaaferi, Dhamaal 4 was finally released on July 10 amid a good buzz and high expectations. However, the film has opened to a highly mixed response so far. While a section of viewers are liking the family entertainer, the remaining ones are calling it dull and cringe.

Dhamaal 4 follows the hunt for a hidden treasure buried beneath a mysterious “M.” As news of the fortune spreads, several characters set off on a race to claim it for themselves. Their journey is packed with hilarious situations, mix-ups, unexpected twists, and risky challenges. Who finally gets hold of the treasure is revealed only in the film.
The movie brings back the franchise’s popular characters with Ajay Devgn playing Guddi, Riteish Deshmukh as Lallan, and Arshad Warsi and Jaaved Jaaferi reprising their fan-favourite roles as Adi and Manav. The latest instalment also introduces television stars in key roles. Anjali Anand plays Lallan’s wife, while Sanjeeda Shaikh is paired opposite Arshad Warsi’s character, Adi.
As per reports, Dhamaal 4 has been made on an estimated budget of around Rs 150 crore, including print and advertising (P&A) costs.
DHAMAAL 4 OTT RELEASE UPDATE: WHEN & WHERE WILL THE FILM STREAM ONLINE?
While Dhamaal 4 is currently playing in theatres, a section of fans is waiting for its OTT debut. For those unaware, Netflix has already bought the film’s rights even before its theatrical release. However, the makers are yet to confirm an official streaming date.
While the makers have not announced an official OTT release date, many recent Bollywood films have arrived on streaming platforms around six to eight weeks after their theatrical release. If Alpha follows a similar pattern, it could make its digital debut on Netflix sometime in mid or late August.
However, this is only an estimate, and viewers will have to wait for an official confirmation from the makers or the streaming platform.
