Swara Bhasker has addressed the controversy surrounding her remarks on the Jauhar sequence in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmaavat. The actress said that a viral clip of her statement was being circulated with an incorrect translation, leading to misunderstandings about what she actually said. In her clarification, Swara said that she never intended to call Rani Padmavati or women who performed Sati cowardly. She stated, “I absolutely did not say that Queen Padmavati or any sati was a coward.”
