Haiwaan Box Office Collection Day 4 Prediction: Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan, who were last seen together in 2008 release Tashan, are now making headlines for their new release. We are talking about Haiwaan which is an action thriller and is helmed by ace filmmaker Priyadarshan. To note, Haiwaan marks Akshay’s second collaboration with Priyadarshan this year after Bhooth Bangla and certainly of the most talked about releases. After all, Haiwaan is the remake of the 2016 release Priyadarshan directorial Oppam which featured Mohanlal in the lead. Interestingly, Mohanlal also did a cameo in Haiwaan which added to the excitement around the crime thriller.
To note, Mohanlal also marks late actor Asrani’slast appearance on the big screen which added to the emotional quotient of the film. Besides, the movie, which marks Priyadarshan’s first collaboration with Saif, features Akshay in a negative role after a long time. But despite a stellar cast and an acclaimed director, Haiwaan failed to leave a mark on the audience. The movie witnessed a slow start and failed to pick up pace during the opening weekend. As a result the Monday test became even more crucial.

According to a report published in Sacnilk, Haiwaan recorded an occupancy of 12.77% during the evening shows today (day 4/ first Monday)

To note, Haiwaan has been struggling at the box office on the first Monday and made a collection of only Rs 44cr until 7pm which took the overall collection to Rs 7.79cr. It is evident that Haiwaan will fail to earn Rs 1cr and is likely to be one of Akshay’s worst performing movies ever.
Meanwhile, talking about reuniting with Akshay after a long time, Saif, in a report published in Bollywood Hungama, stated, “I love Akshay. He’s like an elder brother to me. We have seen each other before. We go all the way back. There’s a special respect for someone who has served as long as he has. We have just gone through so much together. We have always had great chemistry. This film doesn’t rely on that comedic chemistry, which is also good because I think that has had its time. This is a darker, more dramatic equation. It’s not all masti and banter. It’s quite a different space”.
