“I Want To Knock Him Out”: Kiamran Nabati Eyes Finish Over Nontachai At The Inner Circle 31

Russian knockout artist Kiamran Nabati is finally set to run through his rescheduled matchup against Nontachai Jitmuangnon. The two will collide at The Inner Circle 31 on Friday, September 18, streaming on live.onefc.com.

The bout was originally scheduled for ONE Fight Night 46 back in August, but the fight was derailed after Nontachai fell ill ahead of the card. Now fully healthy on both sides, the two are ready to settle their business inside the ring.

Nabati, representing Archangel Michael, enters the contest with a career record of 22-1 and a ONE mark of 4-1. His only career loss came in his most recent outing in May against Yod-IQ Or Pimolsri, a fighter who has since gone on to claim the ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Title by defeating Rambolek Chor Ajalaboon last week.

Reflecting on the earlier postponement, Nabati admitted the delay was frustrating but insisted it did little to disrupt his preparation, having continued training throughout the extended camp.

“I was ready before and I’m ready all the time. I was sad when the fight was cancelled and I had to extend my camp, but it’s okay. I was still training, I was still improving my skills and now I am confident and I am ready for this fight,” Nabati said.

Standing across from him is the 27-year-old Nontachai, representing Jitmuangnon Gym, who enters riding a three-fight winning streak with a career record of 53-22 and a ONE mark of 6-1. Nabati acknowledged the threat his Thai opponent poses given his own current momentum.

“I will try to show my best performance. I will do everything, and I want to knock him out. I’m confident 100 percent, and let’s see. It’s gonna be a good fight because Nontachai also has a win streak, right?” he said.

Nabati already has his sights set on avenging his lone career defeat, hoping a win over Nontachai will pave the way for a rematch opportunity against the newly crowned champion.

“I want to win against Nontachai; that’s my target. I want to beat him; I will try everything to knock him out. And then I will try to ask Chatri; I will ask the matchmakers to give me a rematch with Yod-IQ because it’s gonna be five rounds and it’s gonna be war,” Nabati said.
