India vs West Indies Toss Result: IND vs WI 1st ODI Who Won Toss, Playing 11

India are set to lock horns against West Indies in the first ODI today (Sunday, September 27) at the Greenfield Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram.

The three-match ODI series begins down south as the Indian team will be aiming a strong start, with both Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli returning to the side.

Shubman Gill and team have an excellent record at home against the Caribbean side, and they will be hoping to continue the same. With the ODI World Cup 2027 in horizon, this is an important rehearsal for the team. For West Indies, it is a crucial test for them ahead of the World Cup qualifiers. They haven’t won a bilateral series in India since 2002, and that adds to their recent misery ahead of the series.
