Nana Patekar Death: Renowned actor Nana Patekar is no more with us and the news has left his massive fan following heartbroken and in state of show. According to media reports, the 75 year old actor died of a cardiac arrest in Goa on October 8, 2026. The media reports suggested that Nana Patekar, who was in Goa for an event, was found unconscious at his residence after complaining of a severe chest pain. It was also reported that Nana Patekar was given CPR for around 45 minutes but he remained unresponsive.
Talking to ANI, Dr Shekhar Salkar, Chief of the Oncology Department at Manipal Hospital, stated, “When our ER team went there, they started cardiac massage because he was totally unresponsive. They shifted him to our hospital at around 4:20 or 4:30 am. We also tried our best, but he was brought dead”. Ever since the news of Nana Patekar’s untimely demise has surfaced, several celebrities have paid their tribute to the late actor and mourned the loss. Taking to her Instagram story, Tanushree shared a video and called Nana Patekar ‘evil’. She stated, “Maine suna hai, I have heard the news. Today is my workday. I am going to Lucknow for an event, and I want to focus on that. What an odd day for all this to happen, because I am doing a very big event in Lucknow, and it was pretty important to me. I had my entire day planned out, and I wanted to do all these lives and post content, and now I am worried that in the evening, that’s all the media is going to be interested in. It’s Evil Dead, so I will give my reaction once I figure out what kind of reaction I should have, so definitely condolences to the family”.
Tanushree Dutta & Nana Patekar’s MeToo Controversy
To note, Tanushree Dutta had earlier accused Nana Patekar of sexual harassment during the #MeToo movement in India in 2018. The actress claimed that Nan Patekar had harassed her on the sets of Horn ‘Ok’ Pleassss in 2008 and alleged that the veteran actor touched her inappropriately while shooting for a song claiming to teach her dance steps. However, Nana Patekar had denied the allegations.
