New Delhi, Jun 19 (PTI) Actor Dhanush’s film “OM” is set to release in theatres worldwide on October 16. The film is directed by Rajkumar Peria and is described as a high-octane action-drama. It was previously titled “D55”.
The makers shared the teaser and the release date of the film with a post on Instagram on Thursday, which was re-shared by the actor. “His arrival spells pure fire. Presenting the FIRST STRIKE – ‘D55’ is #OM,” read the caption.
The video features a group of frightened villagers and introduces Dhanush as a fierce saviour fighting with armed men in the rain-soaked forest to protect them. The film also features Mammootty, Sai Pallavi and Sreeleela and will have music composed by Sai Abhyankkar.
It is produced under Wunderbar Films and RTake Studios. Dhanush’s latest work is “Kara”, which released in April. He essayed the role of Karasaami, in the film.
