Prahaar X Review: Rajkummar Rao is an actor who has successfully carved a niche for himself with his impressive and versatile acting skills. He is known for his content driven approach when it comes to choosing his projects and hence, his new release has been creating waves in the industry. We are talking about Prahaar: The Untold Story of Ujjwal Nikam, which is based on the advocate who played a key role in the legal battle surrounding the 26/11 Mumbai attack.

Directed by Avinash Arun, Prahaar: The Untold Story of Ujjwal Nikam features Rajkummar playing the role of advocate Ujjwal Nikam. Produced by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films, Prahaar: The Untold Story of Ujjwal Nikam also features Wamiqa Gabbi, Lalit Prabhakar, Jaideep Ahlawat, Ashish Vidyarthi and Sikandar Kher. The legal drama marks Rajkummar’s second collaboration with Wamiqa and the trailer did grab a lot of eyeballs. And now that Prahaar has finally hit the screens, here’s what the audience has to say about it
Prahaar Twitter Review
Taking to the micro-blogging site Twitter, a user gave Prahaar a rating of 2.5 stars and wrote, “#Prahaar is a decent attempt on the 26/11 and #UjjwalNikam’s biopic that has some powerful speeches but has some pacing issues. The film could have been a far more gripping experience if it had wrapped up within 120 minutes. It’s not a bad film at all; it’s just that it doesn’t put in enough effort to become a genuinely good one.”.
On the other hand, another user tweeted, “Mannnnnnn #Prahaar was actually SO GOOD 😭🔥 Rajkummar Rao absolutely nailed this role! Really hope more people watch it because this film deserves ALL THE LOVE!”. One of the users also wrote, “Honestly #Prahaar LIVED UP TO THE HYPE! 🔥 Rajkummar Rao is brilliant as Ujjwal Nikam, and the courtroom scenes had me HOOKED. The dialogues, the intensity, the performances… everything just comes together so well!”
#PrahaarReview: DECENT ATTEMPT RATING – ⭐⭐✨2.5/5*#Prahaar is a decent attempt on the 26/11 and #UjjwalNikam’s biopic that has some powerful speeches but has some pacing issues. The film could have been a far more gripping experience if it had wrapped up within 120 minutes.#RajkummarRao almost pulls off a wonder, except for some accent problems. #WamiqaGabbi doesn’t get anything particularly special to doIt’s not a bad film at all; it’s just that it doesn’t put in enough effort to become a genuinely good one. As a whole, Prahaar has some worthwhile things to say, and its courtroom moments certainly deserve your attention. However, I wish the film had been more focused, tighter, and consistent in its storytelling.

One thing I genuinely appreciate about #Prahaar is the amount of detail that has gone into telling this story! You can feel the research behind it and Rajkummar Rao has done full justice to Ujjwal Nikam’s character! More films like this please! 👏🏻💯 https://t.co/Cq0fkLkwOB

#PrahaarReviewRating: ⭐️1/2The biggest disappointment with #Prahaar is how little it manages to do with its subject. Instead of developing the premise into an absorbing theatrical experience, the film settles for dry storytelling and dull execution. #AvinashArun’s directorial is one of the most forgettable courtroom dramas to come out of Bollywood in recent times. Despite the presence of solid performers like @RajkummarRao, #AshishVidyarthi and #JaideepAhlawat, not a single scene registers. And that’s genuinely a shame. Rao plays the role of #UjjwalNikam but doesn’t get the nuances of the character right. He’s comical and awkward in many scenes, and his dialogue delivery lacks the punch needed for a film like this. #WamiqaGabbi feels like an inconsequential addition to the story that only makes an already exhausting film longer. If @MaddockFilms thought telling the story of the 26/11 attacks would be enough to attract viewers to the cinemas, it’s time they get a reality check. #DineshVijan’s film will open to poor response everywhere. The dismal numbers won’t be a surprise, thanks to zilch marketing and zero promotions, leading to no awareness among the audience. A dud is on the way!
