S8UL has confirmed qualification for the Esports World Cup 2026 in a sixth game. The spot came after S8UL’s Free Fire MAX squad earned an invite. The Free Fire event returns to the Esports World Cup this year. It runs from July 15 to 18 in Paris, France. It offers USD 1 million, about INR 9.4 crore.
The Free Fire MAX roster reached the global meet through the Free Fire MAX India Cup (FFMIC) 2026 Spring. S8UL’s lineup finished runner-up in the tournament. That result delivered one of three Esports World Cup invitations for Indian teams. S8UL’s overall EWC 2026 group already includes Indian entries in Honor of Kings, Chess, and Trackmania.

S8UL recently signed Naitik Sharma (Troll), Prince Saini (Prinxz), Jay Verma (Bunny), Harshit Nain (Jack07), and Abhishek Gupta (Stiven). The squad worked through a long FFMIC pathway to qualify. The format began with City Qualifiers and In-Game Qualifiers. It then moved through Group Stage, Knockout Stage, Point Rush, and Champion Rush.
FFMIC 2026 Spring drew hundreds of teams in its early rounds. Only a small number reached the final phases. Under Prinxz, S8UL moved through each stage with steady results. In Knockout Stage Week 1, the team scored 186 points. That placed the roster sixth overall. The team then held form in Week 2.
In Point Rush, S8UL earned three Headstart Points for the final. The best run came in Champion Rush across eight matches. S8UL collected 131 points and secured two Booyahs. The squad finished second overall and took INR 17 lakh. The placing locked S8UL’s Free Fire MAX entry for EWC 2026.
“What makes this team special is the chemistry we’ve developed over time. We have a shared understanding of how we want to approach the game, and that allows us to stay composed and adapt quickly in different situations. Qualifying for the Esports World Cup is an important milestone for us, and doing so as part of S8UL makes the opportunity even more exciting. We are looking forward to representing the organization on the global stage and showing what this roster can achieve against some of the best teams in the world.”
S8UL has also been picked for the Esports Foundation’s Club Partner Program for a second straight year. The organisation has outlined its widest international plan so far. It has chased qualification across 13 titles for EWC 2026. Alongside overseas line-ups, S8UL has also stressed Indian representation across its competitive teams.
“Free Fire MAX has been one of the driving forces behind the growth of mobile esports in India, helping create a highly competitive ecosystem and a pipeline of talented players. When those players get the opportunity to compete at an event like the Esports World Cup, it is not just a milestone for the team but also a reflection of how far the Indian scene has come. Facing the world’s best teams provides invaluable experience and helps raise the overall standard of competition back home. At S8UL, we remain committed to identifying and supporting Indian talent, and we are proud to see our Free Fire MAX roster earn the chance to represent both the organization and the country on one of esports’ biggest stages,” commented Animesh Agarwal aka 8Bit Thug, Co-founder and CEO of S8UL.
