The Vvaan Prediction (Tarot) EXCLUSIVE: Sidharth Malhotra is gearing up for his upcoming film The Vvaan: Force Of The Forrest which marks his big-screen return after Param Sundari. Co-starring Tamannaah Bhatia, the fantasy drama The Vvaan is set to hit the theatres till week, on September 25 and fans are looking forward to watch it on the silver screen.
Ahead of its big-screen debut, Filmibeat Assistant Editor Aakash Kumar got in touch with celebrity tarot card reader and spiritual guide Ayush Gupta to know his prediction about The Vvaan box-office prospects and how the film will impact Sidharth Malhotra’s career. Let’s take a look at what he has to say about it.
WILL THE VVAAN BENEFIT SIDHARTH MALHOTRA AND HIS CAREER?
Ayush believes the project could arrive at an important point in the actor’s career. According to Ayush, Sidharth may be entering a phase where the focus shifts from simply taking on films to building a stronger identity as an actor.
Speaking about Vvaan, Ayush says, “From an astrological perspective, it feels more like a career repositioning opportunity.” The film takes Sidharth into a world involving folklore, mystery, supernatural elements and action. Ayush feels that this could help the actor move away from the conventional Bollywood hero image and explore a more intense space.
“Yes, I feel the timing is favourable for him. Sidharth has reached a point where his career needs something slightly different. He has already explored romance, drama, action and biographical roles, but the next step for him is to establish a stronger and more distinctive screen identity,” he says.
“That is where The Vvaan becomes interesting. The film takes him into a world of folklore, mystery, supernatural elements and action. These are the kinds of themes that can bring out a more intense side of Sidharth rather than just presenting him as the conventional Bollywood leading man,” Ayush adds.

According to him, the upcoming film could also help change how Sidharth is perceived within the industry.
“Astrologically too, I feel this period is asking him to move away from being seen merely as a ‘good-looking hero’ and towards being recognised as an actor who can carry intensity, strength and darker characters. So, for me, Vvaan comes at the right time,” he says.
While Ayush sees positive commercial potential around the film, he is not calling it a guaranteed blockbuster. He believes the audience response and word of mouth could determine how strongly the film performs after its opening.
“I see positive commercial potential around Vvaan, although I would not describe it as a guaranteed blockbuster purely on the basis of astrology,” he says.
HOW WILL THE VVAAN PERFORM AT THE BOX OFFICE?
“The film could start with curiosity because of its concept, Sidharth’s presence and the unusual world it is attempting to create. If the storytelling and visual execution connect with audiences, the film has the potential to grow after its opening,” Ayush explains.
“In other words, I see more of a ‘builds momentum’ energy rather than a film whose entire fate is decided on the first day,” he adds. For Ayush, the bigger impact of The Vvaan could go beyond its box office performance. He believes the film could influence the kind of roles and projects Sidharth is offered in the future.
“Yes, I believe Vvaan can become a turning point, but perhaps not in the conventional sense of ‘one film suddenly changes everything’. For Sidharth, the bigger change could be in how the industry starts looking at him,” he says.
“There is a difference between being offered films because you fit the image of a leading man and being offered films because filmmakers believe you can actually carry a character and an entire story. I feel Sidharth is moving towards the second space,” Ayush adds.
He feels a positive response to the new movie could open doors to more action films, darker characters, large-scale projects and stories that demand a more mature screen presence. “So I would call it a repositioning film, and potentially the beginning of his next career chapter,” he says.
SIDHARTH MALHOTRA’S PROFESSIONAL JOURNEY IN 2027 AFTER THE VVAAN
Looking at Sidharth’s professional journey over the next few years, Ayush believes 2026 could be a period of change, while 2027 may bring stronger momentum.
“The interesting part is that I don’t see his career graph as a single straight upward line. It feels more like a gradual rise,” he says. “2026 looks like the reset. This is about changing perception and finding the right projects rather than simply doing more films,” Ayush explains.
According to him, 2027 is when the bigger movement could begin. “2027 is where I see the real acceleration. There is considerably stronger career energy around this period. It can bring a significant commercial success, a performance that gets people talking, or a project that elevates his standing within the industry,” he says.

Ayush particularly points towards the second half of 2027 as a period to watch. “I would especially keep an eye on the period from the middle of 2027 onwards,” he says. He also sees 2028 as a year when the gains made during the previous two years could become more consistent.
“If the choices he makes during 2026 and 2027 are right, 2028 can be the period where the success starts looking more consistent rather than being dependent on one particular film,” Ayush says. Summing up his prediction, he adds, “2026 is the reset. 2027 is the rise. 2028 is consolidation.”
Ayush also believes Sidharth could benefit from moving further towards action, thrillers and characters with more emotional complexity instead of relying heavily on conventional romantic roles.
“I don’t think his strongest space going forward is simply playing the charming romantic hero. His screen energy becomes much more interesting when there is strength underneath the silence,” he says.
“Action, espionage, psychological thrillers, crime dramas, mythology, folklore, morally grey characters and emotionally intense stories can be particularly favourable for him,” Ayush adds.
He points to Shershaah as an example of how a more grounded and layered role helped Sidharth showcase another side of his acting. “This is why his performance in Shershaah was so important to his image. It allowed audiences to see something beyond the conventional Bollywood hero, discipline, restraint, emotion and a sense of purpose,” he says.
“I would encourage him, astrologically speaking, to continue moving in that direction. The more mature, intense and layered the character, the more interesting Sidharth becomes,” Ayush adds. When asked whether 2027 could become one of the biggest years of Sidharth’s career, Ayush gives a positive prediction.
“Yes. Among the next few years, 2027 stands out the most strongly for me,” he says. However, he believes the shift will be gradual rather than something that happens overnight. “I would not say that everything suddenly changes on January 1, 2027. The groundwork seems to begin earlier, with Vvaan potentially playing an important role in that transition,” Ayush explains.
He believes the year could bring a combination of commercial success, recognition and a change in Sidharth’s professional standing. “It could be one big film. It could be a performance. It could even be a combination of projects that collectively change the perception around him,” he says.
“What I find most encouraging is that I don’t see 2027 simply as ‘Sidharth gets a hit’. I see it more as: ‘Sidharth finds his next identity as an actor,'” Ayush adds. Overall, Ayush sees Vvaan as potentially becoming an important stepping stone in Sidharth’s career rather than being the sole reason for a turnaround.
“The Vvaan has the potential to give him the push he needs, but I would look at the film as the beginning of a larger career shift rather than the entire story. If the film performs well and he follows it with the right choices, 2027 could genuinely become one of the more important professional years of his career,” Ayush adds.
He concludes, “Sidharth’s next phase doesn’t feel like a return to the old version of his career. It feels like a more mature, more intense and more powerful version of Sidharth Malhotra emerging.And sometimes, that is what a comeback really looks like, not going back to where you were, but reaching a level you hadn’t reached before.”
