Jointly produced by Balaji Motion Pictures, TVF and 11:11 Productions, The Vvaan: Force of the Forest draws inspiration from the real Van Devi Temple near Patna and the folklore surrounding it. The film features Sidharth Malhotra, Tamannaah Bhatia, Shweta Tiwari, Sunil Grover, Maniesh Paul and Anup Soni in key roles. Meanwhile, the Chhath Puja song Chhathhi Maiya from the film received an immediate response from fans.

As revealed in the film’s poster, Prime Video has acquired the post-theatrical streaming rights to The Vvaan. The film will premiere on the OTT platform after completing its theatrical run.

Talking about the film’s budget, trade analyst Rohit Jaiswal exclusively told Filmibeat that The Vvaan is estimated to have been made on a ₹50 cr budget.

The Vvaan Opening Day Collection Early Trend (Day 1)

Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia starrer The Vvaan: Force of the Forest has opened to mixed reviews from fans and critics. According to real-time Sacnilk data, the film has earned ₹6.73 crore net in India as of 7:45 PM today, taking its estimated India gross collection to ₹7.94 cr so far.

Despite the decent start, The Vvaan has surpassed Nani’s The Paradise in the Hindi belt on Day 2. According to live Sacnilk data, The Paradise has earned around ₹1 cr in Hindi as of 7:45 PM today.

However, The Vvaan is still behind The Paradise’s overall Friday figures. The Nani and Raghav Juyal starrer has so far collected around ₹10.22 cr net across Hindi, Tamil and Telugu as of 7:45 PM.
