Toxic Advance Booking Collection Day 2 (Hindi): Yash has been all over the headlines these days and rightfully so. The superstar, who had set the box office on fire with KGF series, is back on the big screen after four years with Geetu Mohandas’ period gangster drama Toxic which has been one of the most anticipated releases of the year. Interestingly, Toxic marks Yash’s first project with Geetu and the actor has also turned as a co-producer for the movie.
Apart from Yash, who is playing a double role in Toxic, the movie also stars Kiara Advani, Akshaye Oberoi, Tara Sutaria, Huma Qureshi and Nayanthara. While Yash has shared the screen with Kiara for the first time, their sizzling chemistry has set the screens on fire. Interestingly, Toxic was released in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Malayalam languages and while the movie opened to mixed reviews, it saw a dhamakedar opening at the box office.

According to a report published in Sacnilk, Toxic made a collection of Rs 101.1cr in India which included Rs 55cr in Hindi market alone followed by Rs 23.3cr in Kannada, Rs 16cr in Telugu, Rs 5.5cr in Tamil and Rs 1.3cr in Malayalam.

However, Toxic witnessed a significant dip in advance booking collection for the Hindi version on the second day. The movie, which recorded an advance booking collection of Rs 29.02cr for day, saw a dip of 48.21% in presales on the second day of release. As per Track Tollywood, Toxic recorded an advance booking collection of around Rs 15.03cr for day 2 in the Hindi market.
Meanwhile, talking about Toxic, Kaira told Bombay Times, “With Toxic, I think it completely changes the way you see the man-woman dynamic. And in fact, even for me, when Geetu Mohandas narrated the script to me, it took a while for me to understand that okay, this is also normal. It may be grey, it may be not in your conventional space, but there’s a certain liberation in love”.
