After a blockbuster start on Wednesday (August 26), the gangster action thriller witnessed a drop in numbers on the third day, which coincided with the Raksha Bandhan 2026 celebrations in India.
Toxic Day 3 Box Office Collection: Is Film Hit Or Flop In India?
Toxic saw a drop in earnings on its third day at the box office, adding ₹26.60 crore net in India across 19,390 shows, according to a report in Sacnilk. The film’s India net total now stands at ₹165.35 crore, while its India gross collection has reached ₹197.70 crore.
Despite the buzz and massive promotions, the movie couldn’t cross the Rs 200-crore mark in three days. Trade experts are hoping that the movie will smash a sixer at theatres during the first weekend.
The overseas market contributed another ₹4.00 crore on Day 3, taking the film’s international gross to ₹23.75 crore. With this, Toxic has pushed its worldwide gross collection to ₹221.45 crore so far.
The weekday trend will now decide how far the film can extend its theatrical run.
On Raksha Bandhan 2026, Toxic witnessed a drop of 29.3 percent as compared to Thursday’s box office collection of ₹37.65 Cr. Considering the reported budget of Rs 300-350 crore, the movie needs to more big moolah to earn profits for the makers.
Toxic Day 3 Hindi Vs Kannada Box Office Collection
After its humongous opening on Wednesday, the earnings slid for two straight days. The film earned ₹26.60 crore on its first Friday, taking its three-day India net collection to ₹165.35 crore.
The occupancy levels have also dipped from the first to third day.
