Two-Sport World Champion Stella Hemetsberger Set for Third Consecutive ONE Championship Main Event

Life has changed dramatically for Stella Hemetsberger, yet the reigning two-sport ONE World Champion insists she remains grounded through it all. The Austrian headlines for the third consecutive time, this time at ONE Fight Night 46, where she defends her strawweight Muay Thai crown against Natalia Diachkova on Saturday, August 15.

Hemetsberger’s rise to two-sport glory unfolded over a remarkable stretch. She first claimed the vacant ONE Women’s Strawweight Muay Thai World Title by defeating then-kickboxing champion Jackie Buntan in September 2025, immediately establishing herself among the promotion’s elite.

Five months later, Hemetsberger challenged Buntan once again, this time for the kickboxing crown, and once again emerged victorious. That victory made her Austria’s first-ever ONE World Champion and the promotion’s third women’s two-sport titleholder.

Despite that historic achievement, Hemetsberger admits the spotlight still feels somewhat unfamiliar to her, insisting her main identity has remained largely unchanged.

“Honestly, I feel very weird talking about myself, like, as a star, because I feel like I’m still the same person. Like, for me, it hasn’t changed that much. But yeah, it’s cool to have achieved those goals in ONE Championship,” Hemetsberger said.

Hemetsberger also revealed that her double champion status has only fueled a deeper hunger to keep improving with every bout. She views each fight as another step toward reaching her fullest potential.

“I think that experience of becoming a double champion gives me the motivation to always get better and become a better fighter. Each fight, I’m aiming to get better and better until I’m the best version of myself,” she said.

Looking back on her journey, Hemetsberger also reflected on what advice she would offer her younger self, back when her championship dreams were still just beginning to take shape.

“If there is a message I would like to tell my 13-year-old self, who was just sort of getting started, I honestly think she wouldn’t even believe what I’m telling her right now. But I would just tell her to keep going, stay motivated, and just follow your goals,” Hemetsberger said.
