Welcome To The Jungle is set to arrive in cinemas on June 26 and will face competition from Hollywood release Supergirl at the box office. Directed by Ahmed Khan, the comedy entertainer follows Dr Ghungroo, played by Paresh Rawal, who devises a unique plan to expose an international crime syndicate.
To execute his mission, he announces a fake Rs 2,000-crore film project and assembles an unusual team, including a struggling actor portrayed by Akshay Kumar. However, what starts as a staged film shoot soon turns into a chaotic adventure packed with unexpected challenges, danger, and humour.
The film features a massive ensemble cast, including Suniel Shetty, Disha Patani, Jacqueline Fernandez, Arshad Warsi, Jackie Shroff, Raveena Tandon, Lara Dutta, Farida Jalal, Johny Lever, Shreyas Talpade, Tusshar Kapoor, Rajpal Yadav, Krushna Abhishek, Kiku Sharda, Daler Mehndi, Aftab Shivdasani and several others.

WELCOME TO THE JUNGLE CAST SALARY REVEALED
With Welcome To The Jungle featuring a star-studded cast, much of the spotlight is naturally on Akshay Kumar, who is expected to play a key role in driving the film’s box office performance. However, there has been considerable speculation about how much the actor was paid for the project.
Over the past few years, different reports have suggested different figures. A report published by Times Now in 2023 claimed that Akshay allegedly charged around Rs. 90 crore for the film. However, the makers have never officially confirmed any remuneration details.
More recently, another claim surfaced online suggesting that Akshay accepted a fee of just Rs. 1.8 crore and will take a share from the profits after the release. Addressing the rumour recently, the actor rejected the figure and clarified that he had not been paid that amount. Akshay further stated that his main reason for being associated with the film was its connection to the late writer, actor and director Neeraj Vora.
As for the rest of the cast, reports suggest that Suniel Shetty received close to Rs. 4 crore for his role. Raveena Tandon is said to have been paid Rs. 2 crore, while Jacqueline Fernandez and Disha Patani reportedly earned Rs. 2.5 crore each. Lara Dutta, Arshad Warsi and Paresh Rawal have also been linked to fees of around Rs. 2 crore each.
Although the film features several other well-known actors, details about their remuneration have not been disclosed publicly so far.
