Alpha Advance Booking Collection Day 1: Alia Bhatt is all over the news these days and rightfully so. The diva, who has proved her mettle time and again on the big screen, is coming up in a never seen before avatar in her next release and we can’t keep calm about it. We are talking about Alpha which is an action thriller which presents Alia in the role of an assassin for the first time on the big screen. Directed by Shiv Rawail, Alpha is produced by Aditya Chopra’s Yash Raj Films.
To note, Alpha is the seventh installment in the YRF Spy Universe after Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai, War, Pathaan, Tiger 3 and War 2. Apart from Alia, Alpha also features Sharvari, Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol in the lead. The movie revolves around Sita (played by Alia Bhatt) who is an assassin who seeks to take down her stepfather’s illicit soldier program, only to come in conflict with another assassin. As the trailer of Alpha has managed to create a massive buzz in the town, the makers have initiated the advance booking of the movie two days ahead of the release but it witnessed a slow response.

According to a report published in Sacnilk, Alpha has earned Rs 69.02 lakhs with a sale of 17,637 tickets until 3:30 pm today. To note, the collection with blocked seats happen to be Rs 2.05cr
Will Alpha Beat Mardaani 3 Advance Booking Collection?
To note, given the ongoing trend, Alpha is expected to record the lowest booking collection of the YRF Spy Universe. On the other hand, Alpha is also facing comparisons with Rani Mukerji’s Mardaani 3 which had earned Rs 1.16cr from advance booking.
Meanwhile, talking about Alpha in a report published in Bollywood Hungama, Alia stated, “I had such a good time making Alpha. It’s probably one of the most enjoyable experiences I’ve had on a film set. There was something really exciting about stepping into this world of action, scale and adventure. It pushed me in ways I hadn’t experienced before and I loved every bit of it. What I loved most was that at the heart of it were two women leading all the action. We don’t get to see that very often and I had a lot of fun being part of that. Alpha is a celebration of attitude and a celebration at the movie”.
