New Delhi, Aug 18: The AM Green IGPL 2026 Season 2 is set for an action-packed second half, with the tour taking its unique blend of professional and amateur golf to a series of new venues across India and the UAE.
After a successful first half featuring six events across Africa and India, the AM Green IGPL will resume its campaign on September 23 with the Vimtra Chennai Lions GC event at Al Hamra Golf Club in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE.

The second half will feature nine events, with eight scheduled to be played in India as the IGPL expands its footprint across Delhi, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Vizag and Pune. The venues for the Mumbai Garudas and Bengaluru Stallions events are yet to be finalised.
The tour’s expansion to new venues is part of the IGPL’s wider effort to take professional golf to new markets while building a stronger fan base around its franchise-based format.
“We have been very particular about the choice of venues and they have been done after consulting the franchises and the players. We also want to promote the sport and build a fan base at these venues. Many of our players have played at these courses and their recommendations have been taken into consideration,” said Uttam Singh Mundy, CEO of the AM Green IGPL.

Udayan Mane
Udayan Mane heads the current 2026 IGPL Order of Merit after making a strong impression on the tour. Representing the Atri Mumbai Garudas GC, Mane also won the IGPL Johannesburg event during the first half of the season.
His combination of experience and current form makes him one of the players to watch closely as the tour enters its decisive phase.
Gaganjeet Bhullar
A nine-time winner on the Asian Tour, Gaganjeet Bhullar brings considerable experience to the IGPL field.
Bhullar is currently second in the Order of Merit and comes into the second half after winning the AM Green IGPL Chandigarh event. Representing the Vimtra Chennai Lions GC, he will be one of the biggest names in the field.
Sachin Baisoya
Sachin Baisoya sits third in the current Order of Merit and has already tasted victory this season, winning the AM Green IGPL Mauritius event.
The Phoenix Hyderabad Firebirds GC player will be looking to maintain his momentum as the tour returns to India.

The first two events were played under joint or associated international sanctions, including an Asian Tour event and an Asian Development Tour event in Morocco.
Mundy said the partnership between the Asian Tour and IGPL has strengthened significantly, providing Indian players with opportunities to compete on international golf courses.
“The partnership between Asian Tour and IGPL has become very strong. We had a very successful first half with an Asian Tour event and an Asian Development Tour event in Morocco and a few in Africa in Mauritius, South Africa and Congo. We are very keen to give our players exposure to some very good international courses,” Mundy said.
What Makes The IGPL Different?
The IGPL’s format remains one of its biggest attractions.
The tour brings men and women professionals, as well as amateurs, into the same competitive ecosystem, with men and women professionals competing for prize money from the same pool.
The introduction of 10 franchises has added another dimension through the Team Championship, giving the tour a team-based narrative alongside the individual competition.
The second half will also provide an opportunity to further expand the reach of the sport by taking events to courses and cities that do not always feature prominently on India’s professional golf calendar.
Mundy also pointed out that the international exposure has not been restricted to the men’s field, with women golfers competing on the Ladies European Tour also getting the opportunity to experience courses in destinations such as Mauritius and South Africa.
With nine events still to come, the battle for the IGPL Order of Merit and the franchise-based Team Championship is set for an intriguing finish to Season 2.
