Cocktail 2 Advance Booking Collection Day 1: Shahid Kapoor, who was last seen in O’Romeo, has been creating waves in the industry for his upcoming release. We are talking about Cocktail 2 which is a romantic comedy drama directed by Homi Adajania. Apart from Shahid, Cocktail 2 also features Kriti Sanon and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead. Interestingly, the movie happens to be the much awaited sequel to the 2012 release Cocktail which featured Deepika Padukone, Saif Ali Khan and Diana Penty in the lead. Given the success of Cocktail, high hopes have been pinned for Cocktail 2.
To note, Shahid has collaborated with Kriti Sanon for the second time after Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya and will be seen romancing Rashmika Mandanna for the first time on the big screen. Needless to say, this fresh chemistry is one of the key elements of Cocktail 2. For the uninitiated, Cocktail 2 revolves around a much in love couple who life turns upside down after their old friend re-enters their life and put their relationship to test. While the trailer of Cocktail 2 has grabbed eyeballs, the songs have also been making the audience dance to its tunes. Interestingly, the makers have also begun the advance booking for Cocktail 2 earlier this week and it has witnessed a decent response.

According to a report published in Sacnilk, Cocktail 2 has made a collection of Rs 3.75cr until 7pm today with a sale of 1.06 lakh tickets. In fact, the collection with block seats happens to be Rs 6.69cr.

Interestingly, with a presales collection of Rs 3.75cr so far, Cocktail 2 has managed to beat the advance booking collection of Shahid Kapoor’s O’Romeo (Rs 3.05cr) and Bhooth Bangla (Rs 3.32cr). As a result, Cocktail 2 has recorded the third highest advance booking collection of 2026 after Dhurandhar 2 and Border 2.
Meanwhile, as there are reports about Cocktail 2 featuring Kriti and Rashmika as lovers, the Mimi actress, during the recent promotions clarified, “There is no lesbian story. I know, we do have that chemistry. We are three straight people, guys. It’s only an emotional threesome, not physical”.
