Haiwaan Box Office Day 1 Advance Booking Update (1 Day To Go)
Haiwaan, starring Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan, is all set to hit cinemas tomorrow, September 11. The film marks Akshay’s reunion with director Priyadarshan following their collaboration on Bhooth Bangla. Meanwhile, the film has recorded a decent response in advance bookings. Mirzapur The Movie: Rajasthan BJP Leader Demands ‘Shoorveer’ Song Removal; Writes To Censor Board
Senior BJP leader and former leader of the opposition in the Rajasthan Assembly, Rajendra Rathore, has objected to a song dedicated to Maharana Pratap being used during a shootout scene picturised on Divyenndu’s Munna Tripathi in “Mirzapur The Movie”. Rathore has written a letter to the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) chairperson Shashi Shekhar Vempati and demanded that the song “Shoorveer”, sung by be removed from the film. He also urged the board to ensure that songs, symbols and references associated with historical personalities are not used in a manner that could hurt public sentiments. “The use of Rapperiya Baalam’s ‘Shoorveer’ song in ‘Mirzapur The Movie’ alongside gangsters, drug peddlers and criminal characters is extremely objectionable and hurts public sentiments,” Rathore said in the letter written to the CBFC. Rathore claimed that such a portrayal amounted to disrespect towards Maharana Pratap and the historical and cultural heritage associated with him.

Hanuman Ansh Box Office Collection India: Crosses 150 Cr (Net) On Day 34
Hanuman Ansh is showing no signs of slowing down at the box office, even after completing more than a month in theatres. According to Sacnilk, the film raked in ₹10.25 cr net in India on Day 34, with 7,810 shows contributing to the day’s total. The film recorded an overall 35% occupancy. Despite the strong numbers, Day 34 witnessed a 4.7% decline compared with the previous day. With the latest figures added, Hanuman Ansh has taken its India net collection to ₹153.13 cr, while its India gross earnings stand at ₹180.95 cr.
