Haiwaan Opening Weekend Box Office Collection: Akshay Kumar and his fans are quite heartbroken at the moment courtesy of his recent release Haiwaan. The crime action thriller, which is helmed by Priyadarshan, has been one of the most talked about movies of the year. To note, Haiwaan is the remake of Mohanlal’s 2016 release Oppam which was also directed by Priyadarshan and was a huge hit at the box office. Given the success of Oppam, huge hopes were pinned for Haiwaan, but the movie failed to live up to the expectations.
To note, apart from Akshay, Haiwaan also features Saif Ali Khan, Boman Irani, Saiyami Kher, Asrani, Sharib Hashmi etc in the lead. To note, Haiwaan marks Akshay’s onscreen reunion with Saif after 18 years. They were last seen in 2008 release Tashan. Besides, the crime action thriller also marks late actor Asrani’s last appearance on the big screen. Haiwaan Box Office Collection Day 3
According to a report published in Sacnilk, Haiwaan failed to pick up pace and earned Rs 1.85cr on day 3 (first Sunday) and took the overall collection to Rs 7.35cr after the opening weekend
Haiwaan Destroyed by Hanuman Ansh & Mirzapur The Movie
To note, a with a collection of Rs 1.85cr with 4,374 shows, Haiwaan has been destroyed by Hanuman Ansh which earned Rs 22.5cr with 8,902 shows while Mirzapur The Movie earned Rs 13.25cr with 7,225 shows. It is evident that Haiwaan has emerged as a total box office disaster.
Meanwhile, Haiwaan has been struggling at the worldwide box office as well. This Akshay-Saif starrer made a collection of Rs 75 lakhs in overseas on day 3 taking the total overseas collection to Rs 2.75cr while the total worldwide collection turned out to be Rs 11.55cr after the opening weekend.
