Mirzapur The Movie Box Office Collection Day 1 Prediction: Bhaukaal failaane ka waqt aa gaya hai. Ohh! You read it right and this is exactly what every fan of Mirzapur franchise has been screaming today. We are talking about the much talked about Mirzapur The Movie which is based on Prime Video’s popular gangster thriller franchise. Helmed by Gurmeet Singh, Mirzapur The Movie is written by Puneet Krishna and comes with a stellar cast of Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Divyenndu, Jitendra Kumar, Abhishek Banerjee, Rasika Dugal, Shweta Tripathi, Harshita Gaur and Ravi Kishan in the lead.
To note, the media reports suggest the Mirzapur The Movie is set around episode 6 and 7 of Mirzapur season 1. Interestingly, the majority of the cast will be seen reprising their respective roles from the series including Pankaj Tripathi playing Akhandanand “Kaleen” Tripathi, Ali Fazal playing Govind “Guddu” Pandit, Divyenndu as Phoolchand “Munna” Tripathi – Kaleen’s son, Abhishek Banerjee as Subodh alias “Compounder”, Rasika Dugal as Beena Tripathi – Kaleen’s wife and Munna’s stepmother, Shweta Tripathi as Gajgamani “Golu” Gupta, Shriya Pilgaonkar as Swaragini “Sweety” Gupta – Guddu’s love interest, Harshita Gaur as Dimpy Pandit – Guddu and Bablu’s younger sister etc. Interestingly, Mirzapur The Movie has a major change in the case with Jitendra Kumar playing Vinay “Bablu” Pandit which was played by Vikrant Massey in the franchise. Needless to say the star cast and the trailer has got the audience excited and there have been speculations about how Mirzapur The Movie will fare at the box office.

According to a tweet shared by film business expert Rohit Jaiswal, Mirzapur The Movie is expected to see a blockbuster opening at the domestic box office and make a collection of Rs 26cr nett today (day 1/ first Friday)
Mirzapur The Movie To Beat Awarapan 2 Day 1 Collection
If the prediction turned out to be true, Mirzapur The Movie is likely to beat Emraan Hashmi starrer Awarapan 2’s opening day collection which happens to be Rs 22cr. As a result, it will mark the 4th highest opening of 2026 after Dhurandhar 2, Toxic and Border 2 respectively.
Meanwhile, in a report published in Bollywood Hungama, Ali Fazal got candid about his transformation for the role and said, “For me, this transformation wasn’t just a physical challenge; it was another way of getting under the skin of a character I have lived with for years. Guddu Bhaiya has always had the fire, the rage and the hunger, and this time I wanted his physical presence to match all of that. Bringing him to the big screen has been a completely different experience, and I think audiences are going to see a Guddu they recognise, but also a version of him that they haven’t seen before. The Bhaukaal is definitely bigger this time”.
