Women’s Asia Cup 2026 Schedule: Full List of Fixtures, Date and Venue, Teams, Live Streaming

The Asian Cricket Council (ACC) has officially announced the schedule for the 2026 Women’s Asia Cup, setting the stage for another high-voltage clash between arch-rivals India and Pakistan on September 5.

The continental tournament will take place in the United Arab Emirates, with all matches scheduled at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium between August 28 and September 13.

This year’s competition will be the tenth edition overall and the sixth to be played in the T20 format. The tournament features eight teams divided equally into two groups.

Group A consists of seven-time champions India, Pakistan, Thailand, and Hong Kong China. Group B features defending champions Sri Lanka, alongside Bangladesh, the UAE, and Indonesia.

India’s Campaign and Tournament Format

The Women in Blue will begin their pursuit of an eighth Asia Cup title on August 30 against Thailand. They will then take on Hong Kong China on September 3, before squaring off against Pakistan in their final group stage encounter on September 5.

The tournament will kick off on August 28 with a curtain-raiser between Thailand and Hong Kong China. All matches will be played under lights, starting at 6:30 PM local time, which translates to 8:00 PM IST.

According to the tournament format, the top two teams from each group will advance to the semi-finals. The semi-finals are scheduled for September 10 and 11, leading up to the grand finale on September 13.

India enters the 2026 edition as the most successful team in Women’s Asia Cup history, having secured the trophy seven times. However, Sri Lanka heads into the tournament as the defending champions, having defeated India to lift the 2024 crown. Bangladesh is the only other team to have won the competition, claiming the title in 2018.
Pakistan, who have never won the Women’s Asia Cup, will be desperate to break their title drought. Their best finishes came in 2012 and 2016 when they ended as runners-up to India on both occasions.
