Amaal Malik New Controversy: Singer Armaan Malik has reacted strongly to the trolling that followed his brother and Bigg Boss 19 fame Amaal Mallik’s public criticism of Salman Khan Films over a credit issue. The singer defended Amaal and made it clear that asking for rightful credit does not mean being ungrateful for the opportunities one has received. Armaan said that if artists do not speak up for their rights, nobody else will fight for them.
WHY DID AMAAL MALIK CALL OUT SALMAN KHAN FILMS?
The controversy started after Salman Khan Films shared an anniversary post for Hero, featuring the popular song Main Hoon Hero Tera. Amaal Malik noticed that the post did not properly credit him as the composer and Kumaar as the lyricist. He then called out the production house’s social media team in the comments section.
Amaal wrote, “Whoever is handling the page or the social media of @skfilmsofficial, I love the audacity you have shown by leaving out the composer & the lyricist of the song lol.”
He further pointed out that the song was created with the “pain, blood, sweat and tears” of its makers and said that giving credit to the people behind the work should be a basic practice. Amaal also asked the team not to delete his comment and wanted Salman Khan to see it so that he could know that the social media team had “screwed up.”
Amaal’s comment soon became a talking point online, with some users supporting the composer while others questioned his decision to publicly raise the issue. Armaan Malik has now stepped into the discussion after facing criticism over his brother’s stand.
One user accused the two brothers of being “ungrateful” and claimed that the support they received from Salman Khan should have gone to people who were more deserving and grateful.

Armaan did not hold back while responding to the criticism. He wrote, “Please go create an original song, write it or sing it, then watch your name be conveniently left out where it belongs. I’d be curious to hear how that feels.”
Armaan also addressed the argument that the brothers should simply be grateful for the opportunities they received. The singer said he has always acknowledged the people who played a role in his journey but added that gratitude should not force an artist to remain silent about missing credit.

The singer also responded to another troll who claimed that Salman Khan’s version of the song became a bigger hit than Armaan’s version. Armaan, who sang the film version of Main Hoon Hero Tera, gave a blunt response to the comment, writing, “Pehle meri discography study karlo, phir yahan aake bhonkna (sic).”

Armaan later made it clear that the issue was not about seeking attention for himself. In another post, he said that his own credit was no longer his main concern and that he was standing up for his brother.
“Mera credit toh chhod hi do. I’ve stopped expecting. For me you guys are enough,” Armaan wrote while referring to his fans.
The latest exchange has once again brought the importance of proper artist credits in the music industry into focus.
